This Two-piece Closure Bolt is for 2 3/8" and 2 3/ 4" backset doors with jambs up to 1 1/4H thick, right or left hand swing.  It can be used on interior doors and exterior doors to eliminate sag and to secure the door from manufacture through installation.

The Two-piece Closure requires a 1" diameter or a 3/4" X 1" rectangular hole through the jamb.  The two parts are supplied in a connected set to aid installation and ensure an equal number of matching parts supplied in each box.

* A unique ratcheting feature reduces  any chance of vibrating loose during shipment.

* The barrel section can be left  in place for alignment during  installation or during construction to  act  as a  temporary  latch until hardware  is installed.   The barrel can also be used to stabilize double and sidelight doors.
